Our mission is to help marginalized and underprivileged groups discover the joys and benefits of kayak fishing. We focus on children, veterans, and people with disabilities as these groups often face unique challenges that can impede their access to kayak fishing. We want to bridge that gap by providing safety gear, tackle, kayaking equipment, and tournament fees. Our hope is that they will gain a better connection with the outdoors and all its fishing wonders.
Getting these individuals outside and in nature will help with their mental health, physical health, and help create lasting friendships with others that have the same passion as they do. We promote safety above all else
About Us
At the very beginning of covid we started a Facebook group called Kayak Fishing For Beginners. This was created to be a safe platform for kayak fishing anglers from all over the world to ask their kayak fishing related questions. After 3 years we hit 75,000 members and continued to grow. Over that time we came to realize that there were many individuals that didn’t have the proper safety equipment or the means to get into the sport of kayak fishing. We made it our mission to ensure that Veterans, Kids, and People with disabilities had the proper gear. Promoting safety is a passion for everyone here at KFFB. That is why we started this US based and operating non-profit.

Our sponsored individuals are hand selected to ensure they meet our criteria. Safety is of the utmost importance here at KFFB so our packages start with safety gear. Packages may also include a variety of fishing gear to help them in their kayak fishing journey. We do not provide kayaks
